Hi! I’m FL. I’m a student herbalist (currently in my second year out of a 5-year Western Herbalism program), based in rural Quebec. This blog is where I will be sharing what I learn about plants, my experiences with various methods and practices, and my developing relationship with nature.
My studies are focused around plants native and naturalised to Quebec, as well as European plants. I’m especially interested in topics relevant to the communities I personally belong to: queer and trans folks, neurodivergence, Health at Ever Size (HAES), and trauma healing.
As a student, this blog is focused on my learning process, my discoveries, and my journey with plants. One day, I would like to be able to provide clinical consultations, but I am not currently offering clinical services. I hope you enjoy reading about my journey through herbalism and the wonderful world of plants!
What you will find on my site:
– Plant profiles and notes
– Reflections on what I’m learning
– Observations and experiments
– Resources I’m finding helpful
– Book reviews
– One day: workshops, community offerings, virtual consultations
